
Annette O'Toole grew up in the Houston dance studio, which was managed by her mom. The first time she appeared on TV was in the age of two, as a kid on The Don Mahoney Kiddie Trooper show. She and her mother were ten years of singing, dancing and dancing under her belt, went in Los Angeles the entire year when she was 13 to test out whether she could be capable of making a living from show business. Her first gig as a professional performer in only two months: Danny Kaye's The Danny Kaye Show. She says "I learned from my lessons for dancing and singing in a variety of ways." O'Toole's debut acting gig was My Three Sons, followed with appearances on Gunsmoke, The Partridge Family, The Mod Squad, as well as Hawaii Five-O. In her career, she's been in over 40 programs Despite her accomplishments in film and television her greatest love remains the theater. After a six-year run in Smallville O'Toole made the decision to concentrate on theatre, something she had been doing for the past decade. She made the trip to New York and her first audition resulted in her being included in The Sea Gull. Her appearances have been in various Off-Broadway productions. Among them are Adam Rapp's Kindness Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska, and Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday For Creve Couer.
